And while they capture the Moleskine aesthetic perfectly, they’re just not very exciting. They’ve designed five bags in a variety of sizes, and they all have the same vibe. Here’s the messenger bag, the one I’d be most likely to buy, but wont:
Like I said, the bags are perfectly Moleskine, but like the cahier books, too plain for the real world. This plainness is perfectly fine for notebooks, but I feel it sort of misses the mark with these bags.
The big question is: why should I switch from my Dickies messenger bag? Moleskine doesn’t have a compelling answer.
